God, Renaissance Fairs are great. We had a dancing bear at ours. Not a real bear — a guy in a bear suit. But it looked like a real bear and the kid just loved it to pieces.
So true. We just read in our book club Taylor Wilshire’s latest novel, “The Book of Mom”. The main character also has boys and the book is so funny about the things we do as mom’s. It’s really about a mom that burns out of motherhood and how she gets her passions back. Have you read it? I am not into the Oprah-like self hep ideas but thought the book was a perfect summer read, the best I have read in a long time. I would love your insight.

No tomatoes to throw, though. I’m jealous!
