Dammit

I am most likely going to lose a course, and the experience and pay that comes with it. It needs one more student to enroll.

Anyone interested in Modern and Contemporary art?

Damn, damn, damn. This is the adjunct’s life. Waiting all the time to see what your income and schedule will be semester to semester, and still having no guarantees when you sign that contract.

OMG. one student? That sucks. You know I’m interested, but I’m teaching every day this semester. Also, the commute from Philadelphia to your area is kind of a bitch. Crossing fingers for you!

I am TOTALLY interested in Modern and Contemporary Art. But how could I ever hang out with you at blogger meetups if I were your student? Hmm. Conundrum.

(Also I kind of can’t take any classes that are before 6 p.m., and they kind of have to be in North County. But if your class is after 6 and in North County, and you will still let me be your blog buddy on the sly, then email me. Hehe.)

P.S. I do recall how much this used to suck when my mom was an adjunct prof. It was really uncool.

It’s a day class and not in North County. Crap! And of COURSE you’d still be my friend.

It’s just one of those things you can’t do anything about besides tell your existing students and hope. I got nine this way, I neeeeedsss ten.
