Sorry, ya’ll. I missed a day of NaBloPoMo. I was barely home. I was out with my super great, delicious NB running errands.
Okay, I’m not that sorry.

Seven Weird/Random Things
1. The Mommy has started feeding me expensive organic, all natural cat food. I hate it. She’s a bitch, that one. Organic, my ass.
2. I am currently sleeping in the pile of curtains I pulled down earlier.
3. I leave tufts of hair all over the house. Black tufts of my fur. They are like presents for the Dyson.
4. I will also eat those tufts of fur if the Dyson doesn’t want them.
5. Every time people go in the kitchen, it’s time for wet food. I hate that they can’t figure this out, I try to tell them by screeching at them.
6. If I could give this kitten a bath every minute of the day, I would.
7. I love you. I don’t know you, but if you come over I will love you. I’m kind of a whore for a cat. A LOVE whore.

You want to know something sad? We are spending about eight bajillion dollars a week on Organix brand organic cat food — the very best organic cat food in the entire world, and organic cat food that our new (used) cat used to like, mind you, before he went into the veterinary hospital to be treated for hyperthyroidism — and yet kitty won’t eat it anymore unless I mix in half a pouch of one of the fish-based Meow Mix moist meal dohickeys.
It’s like taking a gourmet salad of organically grown mâche and tiny tomatoes, and then throwing a chopped up Big Mac into it.
(sigh)
