I liked the Fit a lot, and the Nissan Versa, but Daniel is almost as tall as me and when I sat the kids in the backseat there just wasn’t much there. The Versa seems to have a bit more room than the Fit, though. But yes, no fun if you have kids teeny.
The Hyundais were all cute, man. CUTE. And with a 5 year bumper to bumper and a 10 year powertrain warranty WITH a 5-star safety rating all around AND stocked with loads of standard goodies that were extra on other models AND I fit well in and was super fun to drive, it was my winner car.
I’ll keep you up to date on how today, I licked the paint, and this day, I licked the cupholder, and the next day, I licked the liftgate…
Yeah, I can imagine that reconfiguring the Fit everytime you wanted to pack something in the car would be a pain, especially if you knew you could just toss it in the back of the Tucson.
Oh how cute! I have a little Ford Focus sedan, which is good for gas mileage and pretty reliable, but I don’t LOVE my car. It’s just a car. In fact, it’s the first car I’ve picked out that I DON’T love. May have to trade it soon….
I have a 7 year old Hyundai Accent that I ADORE!
If I ever get my shit together and can afford a new car, I want a Tucson. Or the Santa Fe. Or maybe their new model, the Veracruz. It looks more like a wagon. I’m not a big fan of the SUVs, I just want a car. Joe thinks we need a bigger car with the kids….he thinks we would be safer if we were ever (God forbid) in an accident.
I loved loved loved our Santa Fe, in spite of its electrical problem. The airbag light kept coming on and off, and they didn’t know if they’d work if we ever (god forbid) needed them. So, off she went. In and out of my life in less than a year. Le sigh.
We took our honeymoon roadtrip in that car! WAHHH! I want her baaaack!

ORLY!?
You’ll have to keep us up to date on how you like it. I have to say, that Hyundai mini van is calling my name, she’s pretty cute.
I love the Fit but it does look teeny. Like, probably no fun if you have kids teeny.

I’m a fan of these souped up station wagons, ahem, I mean, “SUV-Car Crossovers.” I have a Pontiac Vibe. I lurve it.

We have a silver Tucson, and it’s SO fun. I love it. You will, too! (Ours is named Carlos, by the way.)

I love, love, love the Fit. That said, I have no kids, so it’s the perfect car for me.
