We had a siamese when we were kids who would eat potato chips and my hair. Not anybody else’s hair, just mine. He would sit on the back of the sofa and every now & again I’d feel a little sandpaper tongue-action on the back of my head…
This is pretty commonplace in our household. Our kitties LOOOOOOVE rubbing their faces and/or chewing on inanimate objects. Anything that’s pointy or has an edge is prime stuff. I can be knitting with a huge ball of yarn next to me, dangling oh so nicely. What do Vesta and Elliot want? To rub their faces and gnaw on my bamboo knitting needles. Screw the yarn.

Darling, ALL cats are defective. It’s part of why we love them so!

My sweetie’s cat ruined my favorite pair of knitting needles the exact same way. Little bastard.
