Even though I am still shaken by the loss of Nero, the boys have been itching to fill the void his little presence left. They recognize and love Nero and realize that no other cat will be him, but they were ready for a new family member.
Oh, she’s precious!
I’m glad you have a new feline companion to ease the sadness over Nero. And of course, no new pet can replace another, merely fill a void, but it does help.
Thank you! She’s adjusting here better than any cat I’ve ever seen, it’s been less than an hour and she’s already eaten, purred in my lap, loved on the boys, and is playing with toys.

Now if only we knew her name!

That’s a pretty intense look in her eyes. How about naming her…Ophelia?

Maggie looked at kitty and said, “Oh! Hello, Daisy Kitty”.
Mag names EVERYTHING. All of her stuffed animals have names and she remembers all of them.

Oh how pretty!!!! I love me some kitty-cats!!! I”ve got a post in the works about my four and their adjustments finally made.
I still miss Tux everyday, but I am very grateful for the fur-baby love I get from French, Yoda, Tottie and Misha!
